I'm now growing peas just for their shoots, but have never tried the wild. As you note, the ones in our neighborhood are in the roadside ditches and the dirt/exhaust/dog pee gauntlet is not worth running!
I love pea tendrils more than the peas themselves. For me it's the taste of China, so good stir-fried or in soup noodles. Lovely piece as usual - happy foraging!

Marvelous! Our snap peas are just starting to get fully ripe.
They grow up so fast! You miss a day and they're the size of golden retrievers

It’s been five years? We have been home from NYC for four year but it feels…stuck. Weird! I bet X is glad he’s missing toxic peas for dinner. 😘
